Thank you for your interest in our Teen Driver Education program.  Please see the tentative schedule for this session.  Please remember that this schedule is tentative.  Some changes may need to be made later – depending on how many students sign up for the session.  We will be sure to let you know about any changes that need to be made.

Classroom lessons will be held on Saturdays and Sundays.  All scheduled classroom lessons are mandatory.  There will be textbook reading assignments and related quizzes at the classroom lessons.  Textbooks and the first reading assignment will be distributed at the Orientation meeting (look for date and time on the schedule).

Behind-the-Wheel driving lessons will be held approximately once a week for each student – a total of 6 driving lessons in the session.  During the lesson each student will drive for one hour and observe while the other 1 or 2 students take their turn behind the wheel (each driving lesson will be 2 – 3 hours long).  Please check the schedule for the available BTW driving dates and times.

An Orientation meeting will be held for each session.  Each student and at least one parent/guardian must attend the mandatory meeting.  The purpose of this meeting is to get acquainted, explain the requirements of the program, and to answer any questions or concerns you might have.  The Orientation meeting is held about 1 – 2 weeks before the first scheduled classroom lesson to give each student time to read the textbook assignment before the class starts.

To sign up for the driver education session you will need to complete an application, deposit agreement and Behind-the-Wheel driving sign-up. A payment must also be made to secure a spot in the class.  The minimum payment required is a deposit of $127.00.  Half the tuition or the full tuition will also be accepted.  The full tuition must be paid at or before the Orientation meeting (about 1 – 2 weeks before the classes start).

You will need a PDF reader such as Adobe Reader to view these forms.
